Leonard van Stiphout, Ars Artis Simulacrum 1974/1986. The collection of PAUL PANHUYSEN (Provinciaal Museum, Hasselt 1986)

Machine-made 'works of art', stretched 'paintings' made from leftover pieces of textile acquired from a firm in Stiphout. Pretentious titles and an obligatory quotation from Baudrillard make this a semi-serious, stupid joke that falls flat. At least I managed to earn some money by translating the text.
